Poppycock will be performing tracks from the Furia album at gigs coming up this week
The line-up for these gigs is:
Una – keyboards, guitar, vocals Ann-Marie – vocals, percussion Pete – drums, Lucy – flute, vocals Raul – guitar, Nicki – bass
The LP is being reissued on limited-edition vinyl by Manchester’s Finders Keepers Records – more details of which (including pre-ordering) can be found here.
Our most recent new track Honey Moon has just been released (July 1st) on a charity compilation on German Shepherd Records.
The compilation contains new music from Salford, Manchester and beyond which aims to draw attention to the plight of the homeless and provide financial support for the new Emmaus facility in Pendleton, Salford.

On a related front our next gig is with Kill Pretty (who also feature on the compilation) on July 25th – details in the new Live section
Poppycock are on the look out for an occcasional lead and harmonies female vocalist.
Although we are already a six-piece band, quite a lot of our material requires two (or more) vocalists – and we’d like to extend our set accordingly
If you’re interested in auditioning, please send us an e-mail (preferably with some links to where we can hear your vocal skills) to firstname.lastname@example.org
